Company Overview
ywmixing specializes in the design and manufacture of static mixers for industrial applications. We are not a general fluid-handling equipment supplier, and we deliberately stay away from product lines that would dilute our expertise. Our entire engineering, fabrication, and quality effort is focused on one thing: building the most reliable, predictable, and efficient static mixing elements that we can.
The company was founded by a team of chemical engineers with extensive field experience. Before launching ywmixing, our founders spent years working on real mixing problems — troubleshooting poor blending in reactor feed lines, diagnosing excessive pressure drop in polymer dosing skids, and re-engineering sanitary mixers for pharmaceutical clients who needed repeatable CIP/SIP performance. That field experience shapes everything we do today.
This singular focus means deep expertise in fluid dynamics, mixing element geometry, and material science as they relate to inline mixing. We have invested in understanding the actual physics — residence time distribution, pressure loss characteristics, the interaction of viscosities in laminar versus turbulent regimes, and the effect of element twist angle on radial mixing intensity. We know why a SK element behaves differently from a SX element at the same Reynolds number, and we can quantify that difference for your process conditions.
Our engineering team has cumulative experience across refineries, pharmaceutical plants, food processing facilities, and municipal water treatment operations. We have worked with chlor-alkali producers, polymer manufacturers, edible oil refiners, and desalination plant operators. That breadth allows us to bring proven solutions to new applications rather than guess at configurations.
Manufacturing Capabilities
Our manufacturing facility is organized around the specific requirements of static mixer production — not adapted from a general fabrication shop. Every step, from material receiving to final pressure test, is designed to produce consistent, predictable mixing performance.
Mixing elements are produced on CNC machining centers, which gives us precise control over the geometric tolerances that actually affect mixing quality — element thickness uniformity, twist angle accuracy, edge sharpness, and the small surface features that influence pressure drop. For larger elements or high-volume runs we combine CNC forming with precision press operations.
Welding is performed by qualified welders using procedures matched to the application: TIG welding for stainless steel and exotic alloys (316L, 904L, Hastelloy, duplex), and MIG welding for carbon steel fabrications. All weld procedure specifications (WPS) and welder qualifications (WPQ) are documented and traceable to the unit. For hygienic applications we can deliver units with internal welds ground flush and polished to sanitary standards.
Internal surface finishing is performed in-house to Ra ≤ 0.8 µm for hygienic and pharmaceutical applications, with optional mirror polish to Ra ≤ 0.4 µm when required. We also handle electro-polishing for clients in food, beverage, and bioprocessing where cleanability and passivation are critical.
Every unit is hydrostatically pressure tested before shipment — typically at 1.5× the design pressure, held for a defined dwell time, and documented in the test report. Dimensional verification is performed using calibrated coordinate measuring equipment (CMM) for critical features, supplemented by go/no-go gauges and conventional metrology for routine dimensions.
We offer custom fabrication across a wide size range — from DN15 laboratory units to DN1000 large-bore pipeline mixers. We routinely integrate heating and cooling jackets for temperature-sensitive reactions, design removable-element configurations for fouling services where periodic cleaning is required, and supply units with custom connections (flanged, threaded, butt-weld, tri-clamp, or proprietary) to match existing piping.
Quality Assurance
Quality at ywmixing is not a final inspection step — it is built into the production flow. Every static mixer that leaves our facility goes through a defined, traceable sequence of checks and tests.
Material certificates are verified for every raw material lot to EN 10204 type 3.1, confirming the chemical composition and mechanical properties match the specified grade. We do not accept material with undocumented or partial traceability.
Visual and dimensional inspection is performed at multiple stages — after element forming, after welding, and at final assembly. Critical dimensions are recorded on the unit's inspection plan.
Weld inspection is performed visually at minimum, with penetrant testing (PT) or radiographic testing (RT) applied when the service conditions or client specification require it. Critical-service units — those in pressure-bearing roles or handling hazardous fluids — are inspected to the appropriate level of ASME, EN, or client-specified code.
Each unit is pressure tested at 1.5× the design pressure using hydrostatic testing, with test pressure, dwell time, and results recorded in the pressure test report. For hygienic units, surface finish is verified using calibrated profilometers at the agreed sampling locations.
The standard documentation package supplied with every unit includes: material certificates, weld procedure records, pressure test report, dimensional inspection report, and — when applicable — surface finish verification and non-destructive testing reports. We can also support client-specific documentation requirements including FAT protocols, traceability matrices, and data books.
Certifications & Compliance
Our certification roadmap reflects our commitment to operating to recognized international standards. The following certifications are currently in progress or planned for the near term:
- ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System — implementation in progress; audit planned
- CE Marking (PED 2014/68/EU) — for pressure-bearing static mixers supplied into the European Union
- SGS Factory Audit — independent third-party verification of manufacturing capability and quality systems

Our Approach
Our approach is engineering-first. We do not believe in selling off-the-shelf products and hoping they fit your process. Every inquiry is treated as an engineering problem: we need to understand your operating conditions before we can recommend a configuration.
When you contact us with a static mixer requirement, an engineer — not a salesperson — reviews your information. We ask about flow regime, viscosity, fluid compatibility, temperature and pressure, and what you are trying to achieve in the pipe. From that conversation, we recommend a specific model (SV, SK, SX, SH, or SL) and configuration, calculate expected pressure drop, and flag any concerns about materials, surface finish, or installation that you should consider before placing an order.
We support the project beyond the quotation. We provide installation guidance, support commissioning where required, and remain available for performance review once the unit is in service. Our goal is not a one-time sale — it is a static mixer that performs as predicted for the full life of the installation.
